Keep your addresses under control—and use them responsibly

By using DropFwd, you agree to these terms. Pay close attention to the rules against abuse, the recovery limits of temporary addresses, and the fact that email delivery is not a promise of permanent storage.

Allowed uses and prohibited activities

Acceptable uses

  • Receive verification codes and registration confirmations that you requested.
  • Create separate aliases for shopping, delivery, invoices, or public contact.
  • Test email flows for products you are authorized to manage.
  • Pause or delete email addresses you no longer need.

These uses are prohibited

  • Send spam, phishing, malware, or fraudulent content.
  • Impersonate others, violate privacy, or evade platform bans.
  • Automate bulk registrations, credential stuffing, or rate-limit bypasses.
  • Disrupt the service, probe for vulnerabilities, or resell unauthorized access.

Service limits at a glance

Feature What it covers Not suitable for
Temporary email Short-term receiving, extension, replacement, and deletion Banking, healthcare, government, or critical account recovery
Long-term alias Forwarding a separate entry point to a verified inbox Faking sender identities or anonymously harming others
Delivery records Limited-time access to delivery results and message content Permanent backups, legal records, or sole storage
Mobile authenticator Adds a second confirmation step to the dashboard Replacing your responsibility for devices and recovery information

Eligibility and account access

You must be old enough under the laws of your location to enter into this type of agreement and have the right to use the receiving email address you submit. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms.

Long-term forwarding is accessed with a one-time code. Do not share verification codes, temporary access tokens, or mobile authenticator keys; actions taken because you failed to reasonably protect your credentials may be treated as authorized by you.

Temporary addresses and email delivery

Temporary addresses expire, may be replaced, or may be deleted, and might not be recoverable after expiration. Sender delays, spam filters, attachment limits, or network failures can affect delivery, so confirm that you have received everything you need before leaving the page.

The address string may re-enter the available pool in the future. Do not use a temporary address as a long-term identity marker or assume you will retain control of the same address after stopping use.

Long-term aliases and limited retention

Long-term aliases separate your sources; they do not represent a promise that we will provide a particular string forever. You can pause or delete an alias, but messages that entered the delivery process before the pause may still arrive.

Delivery records provide only a limited period for checking messages; they are not a backup service. Move invoices, contracts, and important communications that you need to keep long term to storage you control.

Fair use and service changes

To maintain stability and prevent abuse, we may apply reasonable limits on rate, capacity, attachments, or concurrency. If unusual traffic affects other users, we may temporarily restrict the related address, network, or account.

We may improve, replace, or discontinue features and will explain significant changes in advance whenever reasonably possible. Urgent security fixes, legal requirements, or failures of third-party infrastructure may require immediate changes.

Intellectual property and feedback

The DropFwd site design, software, and brand elements belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not transfer those rights to you, but they allow you to use the service in compliance with the rules.

You retain rights to your email content and grant us only the limited permission needed to transmit, display, protect, and troubleshoot it. Product feedback you choose to submit may be used to improve the service, but your private emails will not be made public.

Suspension, termination, and liability limits

If there are credible signs that you have violated these terms or put the system or others at risk, we may restrict or terminate access. When circumstances allow, we will provide an explanation or appeal channel; serious abuse or urgent risks may be handled immediately.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as is. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or consequences caused by undelivered email. Any liability that cannot legally be excluded remains subject to mandatory local law.

Contact and governing rules

For questions about a restriction, rights claim, or these terms, contact support@dropfwd.com and provide enough detail to locate the issue without unnecessarily exposing personal information. We may request reasonable verification depending on the nature of your request.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Privacy data is handled under the Privacy Policy; read both documents together.
